Are Health Issues Harming Your Marriage?

Here’s the next video in our blog series “Dr. Dana Answers Your Questions.” Today’s question is from Julie: “What do you do if you suspect depression or something else with your spouse?  For example my husband has had sleep issues for 10 years along with feeling down.  He follows a healthy lifestyle so much so that he is actually addicted to exercise.  His body is so important to him that he puts this before his family.”

Hi, My husband has had snoring problems for years and therefore, sleeping well has been an issue for him. On top of that, he tends stays up late surfing internet or playing games on his iPad. Of course, our marriage has all sorts of other issues. I suspect that my husband may have depression problem. I understand what Dr.Dana say about seeking medical help, but how do I convince my husband that he needs to seek help? My guess is that he will deny he has depression and he needs medical help. Thanks.
